Check out your hotel swimming pool

Sueellen, stayed at a decent beach resort in Thailand last year and unfortunately witnessed a 12 year old girl getting electorocuted when she touchecd a poolside light whilst getting out of thec water. Something I won't forget.

Poor child. Can understand how you could be upset with witnessing it.

My interest was because my son was very sick while we were on hols in Turkey and we were all convinced it was related to the pool.

Or is it pot luck?

Yes. But how do you test the innocent looking water? Are there any "kits" that we can take with us to check a sample?
