Cheapest way to withdraw money abroad?

Hey all,

I'm going on hols next week and just wondering what's the cheapest way to withdraw money whilst I'm abroad.

Bringing an ATM card and using that?

Using a credit card?

Pre-loading my credit card before I go and using that?

I've rang my bank (BOI) about the ATM side of things - they didn't know! Also rang MBNA about using the credit card, again they seemed unsure of fees.. *sighs*

Btw, I won't be in the Eurozone.

Any ideas guys?
