Cheapest way to transfer money from Ireland to US

I have an AIB account and a bank account in US.

I would appreciate advice on the cheapest way for me to transfer money from Ireland to the US.

cheapest way is to shop around and not just use your bank,
try your bank, another bank, another bank and transfermate.com

Ive used transfermate several times and theyre cheaper but i always double check anyway with my bank
