I have 4k to invest in the Irish stockexchange, who would the most cost effective stockbroker to use.
I intend to keep the shares fairly short term ,probably selling within 2 years.

See Best buys list, though 2 years is a fairly short time to be investing in the stock market.

Sharewatch also offer online execution only services.

From memory it's cheaper than what's quoted in the Best Buys list.

From memory it's cheaper than what's quoted in the Best Buys list.

According to [broken link removed] their annual fee is Eur 60 and the commission per trade is 0.3% subject to a minimum of Eur 30 while the best buys quotes Eur 50/Eur 50 respectively.
