Cheapest method to transfer Eur150 from Ireland to Spain?

I need to send Eur150 to Spain for an Internet purchase. I have the recipient's bank name and account number only. But no IBAN or Swift. Unfortunately they don't use Paypal either.

Would it be easier and cheaper for me to just buy a normal Euro bank draft (fee is less than Eur2) from my Irish bank and could this be easily cashed in Spain if I post it to him?

Um - why don't you ask for their IBAN? A eurozone transfer should be nice and cheap.

Get the customers BIC and IBAN and ask your bank to make a SEPA Credit Transfer - same price as a domestic transfer.

A Cheap method may be cash in the post however, this is not the safest method!

Try a Postal Order.

Postal Orders are definitely only for domestic use.

You can buy a draft on a Spanish bank or sent the money through SEPA if the supplier will give you the BIC, IBAN, plus address of bank & receiver. The electronic option is the cheapest but you do need to know all the details.

I agree with brussels...ask for BIN and IBAN and very cheap from there to transfer
