Cheapest 2.5k sterling today?

Hi Guys,
Picking up a car tomorrow for 2k GBP.
Going to call by cheshireoaks designer outlet on the way home to get some bargains hopefully? then with the rest.

Any idea what is the best way of getting the amount?

I could give 2k in a bank draft to the car seller as we've agreed a price (Dont worry i know him - i hope he wont screw me )
The rest would have to be on my credit card / cash to buy in the shops?

Any help appreciated
Im with Aib btw and have the cash in my account as euro's

I had to get a stg drat when I was buying a car in teh Bank and both BofI and UB would not provide on as I was not an account holder at the bank. I have an account with AIB and got it there. It was for 6K at the time Sept 2008. I had rang each of the banks to see what it would cost on the day so as I'd get the best rate.

call all the banks and then call transfermate.com in dublin
they'll normally hammer the banks but make sure to ring around to be sure
