Cheap term loan?

I've got a loan from BOI from college. It was interest free until graduation, but now it's starting to accumulate interest from next week. Haven't been in the bank yet but my mates who have, in a similar position, tell me that the interest they're charging is quite high.

I'm thinking about finding a cheapish term loan and paying the BOI loan with that (I owe about €8,000 and would hope to pay it off over 18 months).

So my question is, where should I be looking for a cheap loan that'll fit what I need - any advice?

As a BOI graduate loan customer you're not going to do better for a small loan. If you had over 20k out it might be worth shopping around but BOI's graduate rate for that amount is likely to be your best option.
