I am looking for cheap shelving to store manuals, books, stuff. Any one know where I could get this cheap? does not have to be pretty. Would be nice if it went floor to ceiling.
Woodies/ B&Q and homebase type shops all have sales on at the moment.
The cheap tat shops (Des Kelly Bargian Town) and those on the longmile road in Dublin also do this sort of thing.
I found it very difficult to find any sort of quality shelves to hold a lot of books a few months ago. Ended up buying wood and making them my self with metal attachments to the wall. Not pretty but they did the job.
Let me know if you find somewhere! I always have too many books and not enough shelves.
An astute dutch friend of mine made super floor to ceiling shelving using nothing more than chipboard supported by bricks on each side. The effect looks great, the shelves are solid and the cost is minimal.
