Cheap Holiday Ideas

Hi all,

4 of us were planning on going to Rome in September for a week but decided it was too expensive at the moment as we have other commitments.

I was just wondering could any1 suggest a good(cheap) holdiay to go on either for a week or long weekend.

We are not really fussy on where we go but the budget is fairly tight, so any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Krakow is a lovely city and it's VERY cheap. I was there last year for 3 nights. Booked flights with Ryanair for E50 return. Hotel was 2 minutes from the main square and cost E70 pn. Food was very high standard and very reasonable. I actually brought money home!

We have our holidays booked from work for the 10-14 September as we were planning on going to Rome all along but the money is tight at the moment.
