Cheap glasses for kids?

2 of my kids need glasses and I am wondering if anyone knows where to go for good price and fair range (fussy kids!)?
Anywhere in Dublin/Galway/Northern Ireland will do.

I see some of the non-uk online stores sell for kids which the UK ones are forbidden to do but my kids would really need to try them on as it is their first time wearing glasses so I would prefer a retail store.

Has anyone tried smart-specs in Belfast? What is their range like?
 
You can get a voucher from the HSE which will help with the cost of the glasses. You bring you script into them and nominate a shop. They will give you a PO.

Specsavers tend to have a good range & often do a 2 for 1 deal.
 
yes we use Specsavers in the UK and find them very good and better still we get them totally free over here.
