Hi,

We are going to the US for a wedding next year. Anyone know inexpensive car hire websites?
Arriving and leaving from Boston. Mid sized car is coming in at around €575 for 1 week.

Any views? Thanks

Hey I use https://www.carrentals.co.uk/ to search for the best prices . They usually show the best rates .

May years of rentals. Try ajust the days do you get cheaper rates. If going for week added an extra day or remove an extra day might work out cheaper. Do you need a full week?

Just don't look at rental charge if you the go the companies website can see usually as you book all extras charged they charge of excess insurance and toll tags etc.

Book car hire excess insurance before you go with 3rd party that covers US . This usually only a fraction of what the car rental company will charge you at the desk.

Check and know their fuel policy as well. Usually cheaper to fill it up yourself before handing it back at airport. Keep the receipt just incasee.

I find this site very useful for when reading up on it.

seems they are the low-cost arm of Avis, so reputable enough.

btw - always take a close up video of the car and make sure they see you do this. (no matter who you rent from)
