Cheap Accommodation in La Rochelle

Hi, I'm hoping to go to La Rochelle and Nantes in August, can anyone recommend cheap and cheerful accommodation (B&B) ?

We stayed in Hotel de la Paix, cheap and cheerful. Located about 100 yds from the bus station on Place Verdun (Get the no.3 bus for a day trip to Ille de Re from here for about €3) and 100 yds in the opposite direction there was the friut and veg market. About 10 minute walk to the port area.

Look up Alpha Rooms and Bookings. They have a nice selection of accommodation in La Rochelle. We have always used campsites when we went there.
