Charter a plane

Hi,
I am just wondering is it possible to charter a plane in Ireland? If so, is it very expensive and has anyone any experience of hiring one? I'm going to Rome next year for a wedding and there will be around 30 or so going so I am reckoning it may be cheaper to hire a plane............worth a chance anyway to try and save a few yoyos!!!!! Thanks for any info in advance.

A Google Search throws up loads of possibilities, but no 'Irish' ( cannot be found).

Planechartering suggest around €38k (and that's for an Aer Arann type plane). So over a grand a head.

I don't think there is any way 30 people could charter a plane and beat the type of fares that short haul operators charge.

Scheduled flights will be cheaper, for the same reasons getting a bus is cheaper than a taxi, and getting a taxi is cheaper than renting a car.
