Hi All
I am thinking of setting up as a Sole Trader carrying out equipment maintenance on units based in Ireland. These units are under contract to a UK based company.
I will be invoicing this company for labor only as they will supply all parts and charge the end customer, (service contract).
If i become VAT registered do I charge VAT to the UK company for my labor.
They are VAT registered in the UK.

Many Thanks

Yes if VAT registered you charge VAT on your labour. unless i think if you obtain the purchasers UK Vat reg number (purchaser must be VAT reg in another member state) including the country prefix (GB) and issue all invoices with that number on it you can supply the goods at the Zero rate
