Hi,

Last week I did an online Tesco food order. Food was delivered the next day. All seemed ok until I noticed I had two pending transactions on my account. Usually takes a few days for order to go through. Tesco has charged me twice 157euro x 2.

Anyways I have spoken to Tesco numerous times and they have promised to call me back multiple times. I called again today and I was promised again it would be sorted. Its been 5 days since I have brought this to their attention and am still waiting. Also the 2nd error transaction has put me into overdraft.

I was just wondering what are my rights? Where should take it from here? I seem to be getting nowhere fast.

Thanks a mil for any help!

Hi,

Welcome to AAM.

Have you contacted your bank to see what they have to say about the double transaction? Let them know that its Tesco's fault that the account has gone into overdraft.

It could be RBS/Ulster bank as we had double credits from June 18th credit card transactions. Couldn't say if customers have had double debits though.
