Charged for using credit card

Ryanair charged me £7 stg to book flights yesterday using mastercard. Is this right. I vaguely remember that if you get charged extra to use CC you can claim this of card issuer. How ould you go about this?

I suppose the best thing would be to ring your credit card company and ask them. Did ryanair always do this or is this a new "feature"?

I think they always did but not as much as this :another new feature to watch for is they automatically check a box saying you want travel insurance and you have to uncheck it
