My current policy is not transferrable to a private vehicle and my broker says no insurance company will quote with an open claim. R Ravima Registered User Messages 2,849 8 Jul 2018 #3 your current Policy is not transferrable as you are moving from commercial vehicle to private vehicle. If however, policy is in your name, and not a company/trading name, your current insurer should be able to give you a quote.
