Changing providers.. account credited

I recently switched my line rental away from Eircom, the last bill I received in the post said my eircom account was in credit by E26, not a lot of money I know but better in my pocket than Eircoms. Can anyone tell me can I actually get this money lodged back into my account?
I am also switching broadband providers and invisage having the same problem there

Get an updated bill from them showing the credit that you're owed. Then post in that bill (or a copy) with a letter requesting a cheque refund.

Worked fairly quickly for me. No phone calls required.
 
They sent us out a cheque about a month after we closed our account.
 
Yes we got a cheque for around 26 Euro-about 2 months later-I had forgotten about it
