Changing from Smart Telecom - Broadband

All, I have recently moved into an apartment wired with Smart Telecom broadband service. The service had been cancelled by the landlord, and I would like to re-enable it. However, I cannot seem to ever get through to Smart Telecom customer care line and when I do I am number 25 in the queue.

I am wondering what do I need to clean the line and get someone like eircom etc to provide the broadband service for me. Do I still need to pay smart for the line, and if so, how do I actually contact them - and get through within 30 minutes ?

Any help is most appreciated
 
You should check with eircom if they have provided the copper cable to your address - as far as I know Smart would have rented the copper line from eircom in the first place
