Is it worth changing from oil to gas? Just bought a house with an old myson oil boiler. Wonder with the increase in gas prices, is it still better to change to gas. I know there is an issue of convenience, but the initial outlay to change is E3,600. Any advice greatly appreciated.

Yes it is worth it,i done this just over a year ago in the house i bought. I got some crazy price's from bord gas approved instalers. 6k was the highest price i got. Anyway in the end i got it done for 4.5k from a friend who is a plumber. This included all new up to date rad's,boiler,pipes and labour. They done a top job. There are fee's to be paid to the gas company for running it up to the house and then to check the work that was carried out,about 4oo euro.If you have good windows and dont have it on all the time you can manage it. My last bill was 28 euro. Hope this helps.
