Changing AVC provider

Is it hard to change AVC provider? I'm not happy with the charges of my current one.
Currently with Zurich, looking to move to Davy.
Thanks

Actually thinking of the same thing so interested in any comments.

Also considering the possibility of having two AVC s . Leaving the money currently contributed with Zurich and starting a new one with Davy. Is this possible?

Queries above all possible. You can stop contributions to an AVC and start a new AVC PRSA with a provider of your choice. You can transfer your old AVC fund into your new AVC PRSA, or you can leave it where it is. Aggregate contributions and AVC funds cannot exceed relevant limits.

Those are just the black and white answers to the queries asked. Whether or not this would be advisable would be a much bigger analysis, involving charges on both options, fund choices, personal circumstances etc.

Thanks Dave. Both AVC’s have are charged on a percentage basis so theoretically have two seperate accounts shouldn’t increase costs, but my instinct would be have more than one would be a mistake due to midden costs charges etc.
