Hi,
I am in my mid 40's and have been working in childcare for 20 years. I have a Montessori diploma and a special needs cert and I have been a Manager in a Pre-school and Afterschool centre for 8 years now. I would have dealt with funding through pobal as we were not for profit community based group. I had to organise 5 staff and did the wages and dealt with the accountant for the group. I am now thinking of moving away from childcare more towards admin or something else. I was looking at Ipass Payroll technician or vat technician course or both. I am currently in a steady job which looks like it will survive the ression as the Pre-school/ After school is in a busy primary school, but I would like to do some other course to help me with a chance of another post. I know that jobs are hard to come by but can anyone recommend a good admin course that can be done in the evenings that would increase my chance of another job
