Change of Address - Replacement Car Tax Disc

Hi,

I moved home and forgot to change the address my car is registered to, I accidentally renewed the car tax and it got posted to my old address which I can no longer access. I have since updated the address but all the information on getting a new tax disc suggests I have to go into a tax office? Does anyone know in the current situation if they are open or will issue replacement discs by post?

No they're not open, nor has Leo or Herr Holohan given an indication when that might happen.

Access your LA website and look for replacement tax documents. You want RF134, replacement tax disc. Print it out, complete it and post it with the required fee to your LA's motor tax office and await developments. I suggest you keep a copy of the completed RF134 on the vehicle and avoid parking in public in the interim. HTH.
