change from variable to interest only

Hello
I am with ptsb on a variablr rate but to lower the monthly payments I want to change over to interest only for 1 year
is this possible, I believe you have to have 100k earning per year
to change over is this correct.....if it is correct !!then i woul not want to change in the first place...
Any suggestions please???

Their policy for those switching to PTSB on an interest only basis is a minimum income of €100k. This may differ for existing customers especially if you are struggling to make repayments. Your best bet would be to give them a call and make your case as to why you need interest only for a year. Hopefully they will be accommodating.
