CGT Requirements Confusion

Hi,

I sold some land back in December.
Went to an accountant and had my CGT liability calculated which I returned to Department in Januaury.

It has been suggested to me that I now also need to submit a form showing CGT calculation to the revenue.

Does anyone know which form I need to return and what the return date is?

Form Cg1, due by 31 Oct 2005.

Are you sure this has not been filed already for you? Your accountant should be able to confirm this.

CGT for Gains made in December 2004 is actually due by 31st January 2005. Gains made up to end of September 2005 are returned by 31st October 2005, gains made between October and December of that year are returned by 31st January.
