CETS scheme?

does anyone have any information about this? on the website it says for FAS and VEC students, but after many lengthy phone calls apparently its only for VTOS and FAS students?
can anyone who knows shed any light on this?
I'm doing a beauty therapy course at a VEC college and will be getting BTEA. if i get CETS it would make a huge difference to me, but I'm getting no where and no body seems to know what their talking about.

If you contact your local childcare committee they should be able to tell you if you would get it. I availed of the cets scheme and was receiving a vtos payment, but i know a few people who were receiving back to education and availed of the cets scheme

i got it from my local childcare committee website, limerick city childcare under the CETS scheme, sorry i can't post urls

it is a scheme designed to support the childcare needs of participants in training and educational courses operated by FÁS and the VEC

thanks louise12, the childcare committee say i can get it but i need a form from my college or VEC to say I'm eligible but both of these say I'm not eligible and won't give me the form i need

get the childcare committee to ring the vec and get it sorted for you. You're definitely entitled to it

Not neccessarily. PlC students are not entitled to CETS. It is for VTOS and BTEI students only.
