CentraR (Central Reservations) - anyone had any problems?

Hi All

I've booked accommodation through the Centralr / Central Reservations Site. I've received confirmation from this site - but you do not receive confirmation from the hotel directly.

I'm just wondering as anyone ever had any problems when they booked hotels through the site - either accommodation not available or the hotel saying the deposit was not paid etc etc

Only last wknd a group of us were to stay in 4 rooms in a hotel booked through central reservations, but when we got there they only had a record of one room being booked! Luckily we had the printout with us to prove the booking was made but I will definitely check with the hotel in future just in case.

Have used them about three or four times. Only had one problem when a hotel didn't have the booking but they sorted it
