Central Galway B&B / self catering for a weekend only

Anyone know any nice, good value B&B in central Galway for the weekend of 4th and 5th July? Ideally near Quay St as opposed to College Road or Salthill. I have already emailed one in Long Walk, just waiting to hear back.

Or even self catering for those 2 nights only.

For 2 adults and a baby.

We were going to stay at Jurys but its booked up.

Galway is always busy in summer. Good chance of a place in Salthill which might be a good idea as it is away from the noise of Quay Street - especaillly when you have a baby. Salthill is well connected with a good bus service from to bottom of Quay Street or Eyre Square.

I suggest:
Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill,
Salthill Hotel,
Warwick Hotel, Salthill.

In the city centre,
Victoria Hotel,
Imperial Hotel,
Skeffington Arms Hotel,
Park House Hotel
Meyrick Hotel

..........all of the above are in or around Eyre Square which is 500 metres from Quay Street.

I'm really not looking in Salthill, don't want to bother to take a bus.

I was hoping more for a B&B in the centre. If I am stuck I might go for one of the hotels, but don't want to blow the budget.
 
There are a few B&Bs on Fr. Griffen Road/Whitestrand Road which is only a few minutes walk from Quay Street.

Do a search or try Failte Ireland website.
 
Great idea! I forgot about that part of town - and how close it is to the centre.
