I'm looking at houses in Celbridge at the moment. 4 bed detached houses are going for less than €400K. Is anyone here familiar with Celbridge, what's the area like, is there any areas to stay away from and whats the commute to Dublin city centre at peak times like?

The commute in the mornings can be pretty tough i'd say - i work in the ambulance service we're based in leixlip and heading in the N4 into the city can be crap in the mornings , can be backed up to Lucan at times - I thank my lucky stars we zoom up the bus lane 
Otherwise I think its a nice area, a lot of colleagues from there. FYI a taxi trip home from town is 40 quid !!
