CDWOW problems with order!

Hey, sorry in advance for the long post but i need help!
I placed an order over a week ago on cdwow.ie and was told it'd be dispatched withing 7days. I emailed them the other day to ask for an update on it cos i need it for a birthday present next week and they replied that there is a problem getting the item from the supplier but they'll notify me whenever it comes in! Now on their website it says "in stock, due to ship within 24hrs" !!!
Then i realised they are now advertising it at €11 more than i paid for it. so maybe they made an error when i ordered and undercharged me and this is the reason theyre putting off shipping.
I've sent numerous emails telling them that if they're advertising the item as IN STOCk i expect them to ship it today and i keep getting stupid responses about the item not being available!
has anyone else had this problem with them and if so how can i get through to them?? they dont seem to have a phone number!

Yes, have been there and done that, and ended up cancelling the order.

Similar problems with BangCD, had to cancel an order with them in the past few weeks as they were selling an item they didn't have in stock and didn't expect to have in stock for at least 3 weeks.
 
so i can actually cancel it? I'm fed up, its like talking to the wall! i told them yesterday that i wanted to cancel it and they just ignored it and said They'll inform me when it becomes available!
do i just email them in the customer service section saying i want to cancel it?
 
I had similar problems with CD Wow a few years ago, but I think it was around the time that their warehouse in Japan burned down. At least, I think that was the story circulating on the internet at the time.

As for cancelling the order, when you log in to view your order is there an option there to cancel the order? It's been a good while since I used CD Wow so I can't remember the layout of their log-in section.
 
I had the same problem earlier on this year. Ordered a DVD when it stated on the website that it was in stock but 4 weeks later it still wasn't dispatched. Sent them complaint emails, cancelled the order and told them I'd never deal with them again. Got the same DVD on play.com and had the DVD within 3-4 days.
 
yeah the only reason i went with cdwow really was cos they accepted laser. Kicking myself now!
I cant find any option to cancel the order when i log in.. Unless its staring at me and im missing it, which is quite possible!
I have emailed them AGAIN saying how unhappy i am with them etc etc and that i want the order cancelled and confirmation of this today. It takes so long to get a bloody response from them though. i think ill just go to symths or something!
 
I cancelled my order by email to reply@cd-wow.com
My exact words were:
'As I got no response and my order has still not been received , please now treat this e-mail as a complaint, cancel my order and refund the money in full to my credit card immediatly, I will not be using your website in future or recommending it to anybody.

Please respond URGENTLY'

They responded v. quickly to tell my the order was cancelled & my card ws being refunded.
 
yeah i actually said something along those lines and said that i wanted notification TODAY that my order had been cancelled and my card refunded and still no word back!!!! Im so annoyed!
I'll have to wait until Monday now until i get a response i'd say. Its more annoying tho that i had to email them to find out there was a problem they just werent going to tell me!
Its ridiculous that they havent got a helpline number aswell.. prob because they've so many complaints!
