Any one any ideas of an easy way to travel, hopefully direct, from Charles de Gaulle to Orly Airport? Will have a lot of luggage so metro and trains in Paris itself is not possible. Are there minibuses/shuttles that do airport to airport? Thanks - better start packing!

Transfer

Some airlines will include a free transfer in the price of the ticket if your flight from Orly is with them.

Air France run buses between the two airport (you don't have to be flying on Air France anyone can use them ). Not sure what the cost is but it's the best option probably - information should be available in all terminals at CDG there are special "Cars Air France" info desks.

It's not that long a journey (maybe 30km) but the traffic congestion on the motorway between the two can be shocking at rush hour.

Other than that you could take the RER train from CDG to "Antony" station (south of the city centre - no changes required but check to make sure your train stops there not all do). From Antony RER station there is a light rail service called "Orlyval" which goes to Orly Airport. This might be (a little) cheaper than the bus .. but it's probalby no faster unless maybe at Rush Hours - but then the trains will be packed so not really idea for baggage etc.
