CD not to be read properly

I receive error when CD is put in computer:

CD not to be read properly

Anyone else having this issue?

Must be a dodgy computer with the grammar error.

need bit more info... What type of CD is it? One you created yourself? If so, was the CD "closed" at the end of writing the CD? Is it a CD-RW (re-writable CD) ? What type of computer is it? Can other CDs be read ok in that computer drive?
Might be a problem with the CD (scratched / not recognised) or the computers CD drive might be acting up...
