Hi there

Does anybody know if there is anything i can do to keep cats out of my garden.

Re: Cats

the usual pepper dust/deterent from garden centre. should do the job

Re: Cats

You could try pepper - there's stuff in Woodies etc. you can get to put down on the ground.
Also, orange peel is also supposed to keep them away.
I suppose you could try both if you're desperate!

Re: Cats

yorkshire terrier can do a good job as well

the cat will stay away once they smell dogs around

Re: Cats

But then you'll be faced with clearing up doggy-droppings rather than cat ones.

i suppose they don't stink as bad as the cat's droppings...
haa...just a suggestion off the head...as far as i know cat hate all kinds of nasty smell...put some near the fence or corner then they won't come any near the garden

Re: Cats

Thanks for that, i will start with the orange peel until i get to go to Woddies.

Was thinking a bucket of water might do the trick

I've heard that they hate the smell of bleach. Try pouring some around the perimeter of your garden and see does it do the job.

i have used "get off crystals" in the past. i bought them in a garden centre.

If they are "going" in your beds stick little twigs into the ground sticking up,it puts them off

Small bear traps.
Nail the first one you catch to the wall and the rest will get the message
