Casio Exilim - anyone know how to reduce pic size when uploading to pc?

I love my camera but I get annoyed that first I have to upload the pics to my pc and then re-size them. Anyway to upload them at a size smaller than 2MB?

Had been using the upload software that came with the camera but switched to Picasa as re-sizing is faster with that.

In the camera settings, change the resolution to make the picture size smaller.

Thanks - the book came as a PDF and is over 200 pages long so I haven't printed it off and have been muddling along.

click on the menu button on the camera & flick through the various settings....you'll find the picture quality/size/settings options there.
