I'm flooring a new house, two story and I need some advice on what to put in the bedrooms. I was thinking of laminate but a friend suggested carpet. It may be less noisy overhead but I don't know about costs etc.
Anyone any views ?
Carpet and Laminate would be pretty much the same price. Fitting will cost more for Laminate, unless you can DIY it. For comfort and noise deadening I would definately go for Carpet.
I had laminated floors in my bedrooms when i moved in and put carpet down recently and i have to say it is alot more cosy make sure you get underlay if you do go with the carpet
