Can someone tell me the best way to go to Killarney from Carlow. Would the new section of Moterway from Portlaoise towards Cork be an advantage,if so where would i exit the moterway for Killarney.Many thanks
I would go from Carlow to Kilkenny (Bypass it) and head for Clonmel bypassed, Cahir (bypassed) and onto the M8, head for Fermoy get off there and go to mallow and straight across to Killarney
Alternative is go via Waterford, with the Waterford bypass and the new motorway in Kilkenny, you should be at the Jack Lynch tunnel in Cork in around 2 hours easily and then go on from there
