Careers in film and television

I am really intersted in working in the film industry on a production level. Does anyone recommend DCUs MA in film and television as a good start? I have absolutely no previous camera expertees or film experience though, and am just wondering how to get started. Can anyone offer me advise?

But really if you are looking for a job in this industry move country as things are grim in Ireland.
