Careers details website

I was wondering if there are any jobs details/descriptions websites that give detailed information such as training, career prospects, pay prospects etc etc for employment in ireland that anybody can recommend.
Any help much appreciated.

Hi Gary,

http://www.careerdirections.ie (run by FÁS) covers a large number of careers at all levels. Not sure how up to date it is, but it's worth having a look. I found it useful some time back when I was thinking of changing direction, and it's helpful on what training/qualifications are required.

Don't be put off by the awful front page - the design improves within the site.

I just tried it now, it works fine! maybe it was being repaired last night.

I agree, its quite a good site for starters on what jobs entail and what qualifications you might need. It covers quite a broad number of areas.

If you browse there and find something you like, it will give you a start and you can do more research later when you've honed in on a few areas.
