Career Coaches - Are they worth it?

Has anybody here ever used a career coach and are they worth it? Is psychometic testing worth it?

Would personally consider it a waste of time and money. Spent several hours with one, paid for by former employer, as previous poster said told me nothing I didn't know. Maybe it depends what age you are, might be of more benefit the younger you are as maybe you wont have figured some of it out yourself if young!
