I am a civil servant, who is currently on a career break (2 years) . I am due to return to work May 2007. I am also currently pregnant and I'm due a month before I'm due to return to work (April 2007). I wish to know what my entitlements are regarding maternity pay/leave?
My employer paid my full pay during my pervious pregnancy. As I won't be in a position to return to work in May 2007 can they force me take an extension to my career break? Am I entitled to any maternity leave/pay from them?
Any information would be appreciated. TIA
