Car Warranty Problem

Hi Guys

Have a warranty issue with a car (Jaguar) that is still under manufacturers warranty but our local dealer in cork (Drive Motor Group) has closed down contacted the importer in Dublin but they were most unhelpful, they wanted me to take the car to them and leave it to them (they will not give a replacement car while they carry out the work) get the train or something back to cork and collect it from them when it is sorted.
Surely its up to them to arrange the collection if its under warranty
These guys could not be more unhelpful contacted the SIMI but they tell me i am my own they only deal with dealers and not importers and Jaguar Ireland are not a member of the SIMI so no joy there

Any ideas on how to approach this, don't want to have to take the car to Dublin and lose 2 days in work and there is only 2 months left on the warranty

We can debate at length about what it might or might not be or surely is or isn't, but what do the terms of the manufacturer's warranty say? Have you contacted Jaguar in the UK directly? (your warranty is with them or maybe with a call-centre in Bangalore these globalisation days)
