Car stolen/recovered

Two weeks ago I had my car stolen while in a repairers.The car was recovered by the guards yesterday.My question is,when preparing a claim against the garage,can I claim compensation for the fact that my car will now show up as stolen/recovered which would surely put off any future potential buyer?

That is unfortunate - I would imaging that you will be able to clain for a decrease in second hand value.

What kind of car was it and was it a main dealer it was taken from?

Is it badly damaged now?
