car rental in spain with Gold Car

Hi,

I have rented a car in spain with gold car - usually we go to France and I take out car hire excess insurance but in the T&C it states the following.

* Liability Insurance for injuries or damages to persons or
things outside the vehicle.
* Rental includes Collision Damage coverage and Theft
Protection for the vehicle. Rental limits potential vehicle
damage or loss liability to an excess of approx EUR 0.00.
* Rental includes Personal Accident Insurance.

Am interpreting this right in that it is fully cover with zero access in the event of an accident?

I'd be very wary of the "approx Euro 0.00" bit.

I know there are car hire companies that have a zero excess, but that wording looks very ambiguous.

Can you email them for clarification?

Alternatively you can take out your own excess insurance- I use www.carhireexcess.ie . They are about €3 or €4 per day.
