Unfortunately not as far as I can tell.
There's no bonkers or switcher for car insurance and you need to shop around online, directly and via brokers to get the best deal for your own specific circumstances.
FWIW I'm only driving c. 5 years, on a full license for 3 years and 3 years NCB and Liberty have always been far and away the cheapest for my specific criteria.
Adding one or two named drivers also gives a significant reduction - although this year having two was more expensive than one for some reason so I removed one.
Named drivers don't need to be partner(s
).
Every insurer seems to have its own specific underwriting and business criteria so what works for me may not work for others.
I shopped around last week and the quotes were wildly variable but Liberty were still best for my cover - especially after I called them and queried the original renewal fee which was higher than if I went in as a new customer on their website (!) and eventually got €150 off.
