Does anyone have the address of the web site that allows you check a cars history? It was advertised on the radio earlier in the summer.
 
I don't think you should really need this expense. Car you are buying should have service histroy...Make sure you call all garages and contact previous owners to clarify histroy.If in any doubt DON'T buy car.Ive learnt the hard way this is essential when buying a car.
 

I think you should read the thread on "nearly bought crashed car" and you will agree that it is worth getting the AA to check any car you might be going to buy.
