In trying to organise this year's hols, I've looked into flying into and hiring a car in Nice with the intention of driving through Italy and flying home from Rome.
I thought hiring a car for such purposes would be fairly straightforward but ther seems to be a bit of an issue (understandable I suppose) around hiring in France and ditching in Italy.
Has anyone had any similar experience or is anyone aware of any sites that allow for such bookings on-line? Any of the ones I normally use are just advising me to phone the office but I'd prefer to avoid this if possible.
