Car hire in Munich.

Hi all
Trying to get car hire in Munich for 6 days in late October but coming in very expensive, usual sites carjet, hertz, holidayautos etc. but all seem well over 200 euro mark. Any ideas or is Munich just an expensive location? We need the car as we intend to travel.

Depends on your age but http://www.carhire3000.ie (www.carhire3000.ie) comes in at €186 for 6 days end of Oct pick up from Munich airport.
 
kenbo, you are mad if you hire a car.. the autobhans are fantastic in Munich, every one uses the trains and trams great prices, always on time etc and interconnect to everywhere.. we were there during the world cup and as you can imagine the hundreds of thousands of extra tourists there and we hadnt got one problem getting around.. hope this helps.
 
Thanks for replies will use Car 3000 as we are staying on a farm holiday and have to have a car.

Try Hertz via Aer Lingus site , VW fox €164- end oct 6 days.
