Car engine noise this morning louder???

Hi

Need help. I have a 99 Nissan Primera and all was ok till this morning. It now sounds like a rally car when i rev the engine. I only noticed it this morning and only when i rev. When i cuise in 5th it is fine but getting there is like being in circut of ireland.

Anyone help me with advise

You need to have your exhaust pipe/system checked out.

Not much information to go on, could it be a blow in your exhaust caused by a break or hole..if it runs fine in 5th then it cannot be serious.

Soory for little info. I have done all the usual checks. It really sounds like it is coming from engine and not the exhaust in the rear

I would guess it's your exhaust too. It'll make it sound like a tank!

When cruising it might not be as noticeable as when the engine's under load.
