car electrical fault, any mechanic recomendations in Dublin/surrounding areas

We have an electical fault on our 1997 Ford Galaxy (1.9 TDi). Does anyone know a good car electrical mechanic in the Dublin or surrounding areas that could check/fix it?
One fault is the starter moter needing replacment within months (new glow plugs did not help).
The battery goes dead if car not used for a few days even though the battery is less than 2 years old.
According to the last mechanic and the AA, there is an electrical fault that needs to be found (AA will charge by the hour for fault finding).
And the same light bulbs need replacing every few months.

I would think its is your alternator which is causing the problem,that would drain your battery if there is a fault in its internals,it would also cause bulbs and other items to fail if it is producing to much electrical power when the engine is running ( glow plugs,starters etc).
I have had strange experiences with faulty alternators in the past and they cause all sorts of perculiar things to happen.
I was recomended a good Dublin based auto electrician recently,cant find his number,but will mail you when i can find it!!!!!!!!
