Are car auctions really worth it.
I am looking at buying a landcruiser or pajero sport from carzone.
Are auctions better

No harm to go out and have a look.

Was out at merlin a few weeks ago on wed night. loads of cars a fair few 4x4's there.

Seemed to be some good value to be had.

Go once or twice and have a look then rope in a mate / mechanic to go with you and have a look.

How do we find out what prices are been reached at auction. Is it me or are we seeing a major fall in car prices, and is there a web site like daft that would track these changes?
